
Show Synopsis
Annie KIDS is a heartwarming, family-friendly musical that follows the story of Annie, a spunky and optimistic young orphan living in New York City during the Great Depression. Despite the hardships of life at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage, Annie’s unshakable hope and determination shine through as she believes her parents will one day return for her.

When Annie is invited to spend the holidays with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, her life takes an unexpected turn. With the help of her loyal dog Sandy and a cast of colorful characters, Annie embarks on an adventure filled with humor, courage, and unforgettable music—including beloved songs like “Tomorrow,” “It’s the Hard-Knock Life,” and “Maybe.”

Character Breakdown​
Annie
Annie is a brave, hopeful orphan who believes things will always get better. This role sings and speaks often and is great for a confident performer who loves being on stage.
MISS HANNIGAN
The grumpy but funny matron of the orphanage who is tired of taking care of kids. This is a big comedic role with lots of personality and acting moments.
OLIVER WARBUCKS
A wealthy businessman who starts out serious but shows his kind heart as the show goes on. This role is perfect for a strong actor who enjoys playing a leader.
GRACE FARRELL
Warbucks’ kind and elegant assistant who looks out for Annie. This role is warm, calm, and caring with singing and speaking parts.
ROOSTER HANNIGAN
Miss Hannigan’s sneaky brother who helps create mischief in the story. This role is playful, confident, and fun to act.
LILY ST. REGIS
Rooster’s dramatic and flashy partner who loves attention. This role is energetic, funny, and great for a performer with big expressions.
THE ORPHANS
he orphans are the heart of the show and each has a fun personality and chances to sing and move on stage.

ENSEMBLE / SUPPORTING ROLES
These roles help bring the story and New York City to life and include servants, citizens, radio personalities, and more. Ensemble performers sing, dance, and appear in group scenes throughout the show.
